regrouper l'ensemble des parents d'élèves de l'école ou établissement d'enseignement public, formuler des voeux sur tout objet concernant les intérêts moraux et matériels de l'enseignement public, des élèves et leurs parents, en suivre la réalisation et application ; représenter les parents auprès des pouvoirs publics, rassembler éditer toute documentation relative à ses buts, études, débouchés scolaires et prof, propager l'idéal laique, promouvoir un service national public d'éducation gratuit, assurer une liaison permanente entre tous les personnesl des établissements scolaires et les parents d'élèves, favoriser et faciliter les rapports individuels ou collectifs entre eux en s'évertuant de créer un climat de confiance réciproque ; poursuivre toutes actions capables de développer son rôle de mouvement d'éducation permanente, accroitre le rayonnement de l'enseignement public et coordonner l'action éducative des parents et des éducateurs
